SHOCKER ROBOTICS
CLUB

Early Stem Education

Speak Out Kansas and Shocker Robotics have teamed up to expose students in the Speak Out Kansas community to STEM Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. Through the department of engineering outreach, WSU student scholars are using a hands-on approach to teach the first principals of STEM as it pertains to robotics to SOK Robotics Club students, many of which have not previously introduced.

NUTRITION EDUCATION

Inspiring Healthy Communities

A healthy diet may not be able to cure chronic illness. It can, however, relieve some of the worst symptoms — and significantly improve quality of life. Speak Out Kansas teamed up with Sedgwick County Extension Office, Shirley Lewis a registered dietitian and nutrition expert to teach SOK members and friends how a healthy diet can control or manage many illnesses.
